I have been wanting a tent for the side of the bus for awhile now, but I have not brought myself to purchase one. The side tents that I have been looking for run somewhere around $250. I will wait until the bus is ready for camping before I drop that kind of cash.
I have seen pictures of a rear end tent, but have never seen it in person. I believe the owner of the one I have pictures of is on the Type 2 mailing list, but I do not know his name. I have never seen this type of tent for sale, nor do I know anyone that makes a newer version of this one. I am looking to get one made in the future. This would make a great add on to the bus by providing additional sleeping room and mainly additional air movement. If I could only find plans for this or see this tent up close. I would love to get pics of the actual brackets that connect it to the bus.
