Below are some pictures of the basement in various stages of being built. Some of the photo's are not that good. Our camera must have been giving us problems that day. As you may notice, it was somewhat of a rainy time when this was being done. All that rain made it take a few weeks longer than expected.

The beginning of the basement. This is the corner of the walkout basement. 12 inch block was used all the way around. This block was later filled with foam insulation.

The wall is starting to get taller, still wet......

You can see the side of the wall is up to its full height.

This was the beam that was installed for support.

The block was sealed and ready to have the floor put on.

The basement is complete. It is 34 X 50.

The floor was installed. We used a 12 inch 2X4 truss floor system.
